I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with over seven years of experience in the social service sector. In that time, I’ve worked in many different roles—supporting people through mental health challenges, community barriers, and big life changes. Now, as a therapist, I carry the perspective of those experiences with me, which helps me see clients not just as individuals, but also in the context of the systems and communities they’re navigating.
I work with adults (18+) on concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I have a special focus on supporting newcomers, immigrants, and anyone navigating cultural transitions or systemic barriers. I know how much these experiences can impact mental health, self-esteem, and a sense of belonging and I strive to create a space where clients feel understood in the fullness of their story.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I use a mix of evidence-based and experiential methods, but above all, I believe in meeting people where they are. I was drawn to this work because I’ve seen firsthand the difference it makes when someone feels truly heard and supported and I want therapy to feel like a space where clients can explore, heal, and grow at their own pace.
