I’m Keerat, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) based in Ottawa, Ontario. My work is rooted in empathy, respect, and collaboration. I believe every person carries unique strengths, and therapy can help bring those strengths forward to create lasting change.
I work with adults (18+) on a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. I have a particular interest in supporting immigrants and those navigating cultural change.
I bring a warm, collaborative approach to therapy—combining evidence-based techniques with experiential methods to support healing and personal growth.
Adults 18+, individuals, couples, and those adjusting to life across cultures.
Standard 50-minute sessions. Flexible scheduling available for virtual or in-person care.
All sessions are private and held with respect for ethical standards and client safety.
Sliding scale availability and online sessions to increase access to care.
To build a compassionate community where mental health is understood, supported, and prioritized—so every person can lead a more connected and meaningful life.
To provide accessible, culturally-sensitive, and evidence-based psychotherapy that empowers clients to heal, grow, and develop lasting skills for emotional well-being and resilience.
My work is rooted in a person-centred approach, which means I see you as the expert of your own life and create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore openly. I often draw on Gestalt therapy to build awareness of how your thoughts, emotions, and body experiences connect in the present moment, and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) to help process emotions in a supportive and healing way. Mindfulness practices are also part of my work, offering practical tools to slow down, ground yourself, and build resilience. I bring a trauma-informed lens to every session, paying attention to safety, pacing, and your comfort. My approach is integrative, meaning I adapt methods to fit your unique needs rather than expecting you to fit a single model. Above all, I take a strengths-based perspective—helping you recognize and build on the resilience and resources you already carry. - Let the CBT, Mindfulness practices, EFT, Trauma informed care tabs be here in this section
